I just has a request for an ornament with a summer theme!  I had never thought about that before - but it is a great idea!  I forget that everyone has needs are different from mine.  I am so glad I received the request!  Here are several views of the finished product.

WHERE DOES THE TIME GO???

Busy! Busy! Busy!  May is almost here!  That means Mother's Day, Graduation, and summer!  For those with kiddos still in school - It's time to start thinking about what to do with the 3 months that they are out!  Trips...summer camps...pool parties... etc.

I think I'll just wait on that busy time and just work in the garden for a while.  I need some calm before the storm!

We Must Have Faith in Our Country!

I know it seems like I am always creating Americana - it's because I have friends and family members that are dedicated to this country !  They need our support and prayers.  We really ARE the FREE -  BECAUSE of the BRAVE.  We must keep the faith that some day all will be well in the world!

Graduation Time!

Time sure flies!  Just yesterday it was January - now the holidays are just whizzing past!  Soon Mother's Day will be upon us and then graduation!  That is the one that always creeps up on me and then I panic on what to get for all the new graduates!  I just finished a country graduation mouse!  I thought he would be a great addition to the rest of the mice in the family!!

A Camping We Will Go!!!

Summer is fast approaching!  Many of us are already planning our vacations...or at least thinking about it! Our family has always camped!  My children were involved in scouting and that meant many camp outs and back packing treks!  I just finished a camping sampler for all you campers out there!  Hope it brings back memories!  It's a great piece for rustic decor...or even a mobile home!

Happy April Fool's Day!!!

There will probably be a lot of pranks today!  Hope nobody is hurt or offended by any of them!  My children LOVED to play pranks on each other!

I have completed all my Americana.  I am currently working on summertime items.  I have a camping pillow in the works!  A watermelon basket is also on the horizon.

I have been at the mercy of contractors for the past 2 week - so who know what will happen.

I am attending a university glass show/fair this weekend with a dear friend from high school!  It is a wonderful fundraiser for the talented students in the art department.  I always find lots of wonderful, unique items at a reasonable cost!  I love that!
