New Listings

After spending most of the weekend cleaning up the yard - I decided that it was time to work on some pillows!  I chose to finish a spring friendship pillow first.

While I was getting ready to start the day - the morning news was on.  Of course  - all the political garbage was on as well.  I have had enough and I keep praying that VERY SOON - people will remember that we are a great nation - not a circus!

Still Cleaning!!!!

Finally finished cleaning out the closet!  I didn't realize how much stuff we had accumulated!

I was able to get started on a few crafting things.  Planned on doing a lot of projects today - but another storm blew through last night.  More hail - more debris!  Oh well - hopefully soon!  Here is my cow that I finished.  I am also hoping to post a new patriotic mouse!  Fingers crossed!

Spring Cleaning!

I have spent the ENTIRE day cleaning out our bedroom/bathroom closets!  I am utterly amazed at what I have found.  The things I have forgotten about and the little things I have been looking for have suddenly reappeared!  Still searching for a place to put all our clothes, shoes and stuff for the next 6 weeks!  Our bathroom renovation starts Tuesday. (Alleluia!!!)  Sure hope I can do some crafting!  Otherwise - I know I will have withdrawals!

Crazy Winter Weather

or is it spring???

We were awakened last night at 4 a.m. with a severe weather warning.  Dime size hail fell for about 15 minutes - followed by high winds and rain.  We received 2 more warning before 7 am with additional severe weather warnings.  Our yard is A MESS!!!  We don't appear to have any windows broken.  

... now for the clean up

This wasn't  in the plans for the day!  :(

At least we still have power...for now!

Ginger the Giraffe

I just completed another primitive animal form the Simply Nantucket series.  Meet Ginger the Giraffe.  She has her little calf with her in her pocket!  I have always loved this doll - she was my first!

Pandora the Panda

Meet Pandora the panda.  She is another one of the painted animal dolls that I have completed for my shop.  She is so cute.  Her black smock is made from the soft "minky" fabric.  Sooo Soft!

I Finished My Angel!!!

Today Is Gardening Day!

Rain is expected on Monday - so we need to get our shrubs planted TODAY!  We have 15 new shrubs that are ready to replace the ones we took out!  Lots of holes to dig!!!!   I have started my angel - and hope to finish with her tomorrow.  Spring break starts the following week - then the big RENO!  Hope your weekend will be eventful!!!!

Back on Track!

OK!  I FINALLY FOUND MY TUB!  It took the entire day today - but mission accomplished.  Started on my animals - but decided to add an angel to the works!  I will be having a spring give away on March 7-11.  It will be part of a blog hop - back to the FAAP team blog.  Slight Diversion!

Well  - trying to focus on my crafting - but I can't.  I have a tub issue...I need to find a free standing soaker tub - that works for me AND our limited space.  I can't find any to sit in - to try out .  Plus - now I am not sure about the material...acrylic or resin???  AAAHHHHHHHH!

Now to BREATHE!  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!  In the mean time...I think I will make a panda - or possibly a giraffe!
